Welcome to the Trysil Hotel, a charming hotel with roots that go back as far as the 17th century. It is conveniently located in the charming heart of Trysil town, just a short walk away from the local shopping centre as well as the central bus station.

As Trysil is one of Norway's prime destination for skiing, our hotel is within a 2 km range to the ski centre. You are living on the footstep of over 70 km of exciting and breathtaking slops for all levels of difficulty. Trysil also offers over 100 km of tracks for cross country skiing. The Ski Centre is accessible by car, taxi or by a regularly operating shuttle bus. Located 2 km away from the ski centre, the Trysil hotel is not the closest hotel to the lifts, but we can promise you a stay free of stress in a small, homely and personal environment.

Gamle Stua, our a la carte restaurant is said to be the best restaurant in town, and well known for its exciting menu and the promise of great tasting food.
